Markdown Cheatsheet
Markdown is a markup knowledge with plain text formatting syntax. It is often used to format readme files, write messages in discussion forums. Markdown is differed from platform to platform and would require syntax extensions to make it work everywhere. The reason behind coming up with something like markdown was to create an easily human-readable text.

Headers To create heading add number signs (#) in front of a word or phrase. The number of signs you use should correspond to the heading level. #h1 ##h2 ###h3
Emphasis You can add emphasis by making text italic or bold.
Bold To bold text, add two asterisks or underscores before and after a word or phrase. To bold the middle of a word for emphasis, add two asterisks without spaces around the letters. bold bold
Italic To italicize text, add one asterisk or underscore before and after a word or phrase. To italicize the middle of text, add one asterisk without spaces around the letter. italic italic
Bold and Italic To emphasize text with bold and italics at the same time, add three asterisks and also add three underscores before and after a word or phrase. ___bold and italic___
Blockquotes To create a blockquote add a > in front of a paragraph.

Nested blockquote To create a nested blockquote add a » in front of the paragraph you want to nest.

Lists You can organize items into the order or unorder lists.
Ordered Lists To create an ordered list, add line items with number. The numbers do not have to be in numerical order

Unordered Lists To create an unordered list, add dashes (-), asterisks(*), or plus sign in front of line items.
